Privacy Policy
MARS is a free community where independent developers list their apps and share feedback. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash). If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We never receive your Google password.
- Apps you list. When you add an app, we save the store link you paste and the public details we read from the App Store or Google Play: the app's name, developer name, category, description and icon.
- Technical data. Basic information needed to run and protect the service, such as request logs and error reports.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- To show the apps you list to other signed-in MARS members, and to let you remove them.
- To keep the service working and to prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else handles your data
MARS runs on trusted service providers: Espobase provides our hosting, sign-in and database, and Google provides the optional "Continue with Google" sign-in. They process data only to provide those services to us.
Cookies and browser storage
We use your browser's storage only to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your choices
- You can remove any app you listed at any time from your workspace.
- To access, correct or delete your account and its data, email us at the address below and we will help.
Children
MARS is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Continued use of MARS means you accept the updated policy.
